cleaning up is hard to do

I really do not enjoy cleaning.  There are other things i could be doing instead however, with this small biz thing we are working on it seems that i need to get organized in my crafty ways. it sucks cleaning by your self in a house for two since i am unsure where i should be putting things.

 Also I got ripped off today when trying to buy a new shower head so we could bathe the cats. it said it came with the tape I needed to wrap the pipe but low and behold no tape. Yes I do bathe my cats because simply put they reek after a few months and to get rid of the hair they shedd. So I try to get them in every season but since the move we are a bit behind.  we have one teaser up on youtube the next should be up soon as well. that's all i got ciao

jack!

This is a very old photo of my boy. jack was adopted through craiglist as well. We will never know why his previous mom and dad decided to adopt him out. But I am so glad they did. He is the biggest sweet heart i have ever met. He gives high fives and great hugs. Jack can and will happily fetch his toys  for you.  Jack is only a few months older then Lego. We got him so Lego will have a friend/brother when we moved out of a town house with roommates ( Lego had three cat friends there) 

Jack has a few bad points to him. He tries to be sneaky and steal food from your plate. But that's about it. He is the anti ninja! But he has gotten past us once or twice. 

jack loves petstages fishy fun toys to be tossed for him. He also likes to chase us around the house. Jack's song is "tub thumping" by chumbawumba just removed the Danny boy and replace Danny with Jackie boy.

Jack's nicknames are jackie, jacko, and  jackferd well i am sure there are more

His full name is Jack (ferd)inad Magsino

little bras bird news

we are meeting with voice actors on saturday. A lot of the people who contacted us were americans. I have nothing against that it's just we are looking for a certain sound. It just feels like when american men try to imitate a british accent it sound so snobby or phoney sophisticated. we also wanted an older actor because the voice needs to sound rough. 

 But the two I am looking forward to seeing are a young english man and an older irish man who lived in england. I did like hearing some of the voice clips. Lots of people gave us commercial samples including a man from new york and half of his work was about santa. We aren't going to go with him however because we would like to direct our voice actor. He will be doing every part on the script because this is going to run like a book on tape or a children's show with a narrater (think Paddington bear)  we would like him to sound like the Paddington bear narrator or like the narrator from BBC  Planet Earth.

I can't wait for a paycheck because that means more wade whimsies or a display case!!

Lego!

This is Lego. His name means play well. But he doesn't. Lego is very spoilt due to the fact he was the first cat we adopted. He picks on his sister and on the fish Alfa Beta. Lego loves to play with designer toys ie. gloomy bear. His mom was a feral cat living on the south side She was taken in by these lovely people while she was pregnant. She had four kittens two boys and two girls. The girls looked Siamese, Lego's brother was all black. 

He is the most talkative cat ever! He welcomes Rhodrick home(never me) Wakes us up in the morning so the other cats don't have to. He will eat the hair off you head to get you up.  Lego doesn't think he's a cat he thinks he's a baby. He will steal my spot on the bed so he can lay next to his dad. He will typically put his head on the pillow and his body will be resting on the bed.  We also talk and hold conversations with Lego. It is very cute maybe one day I will record that on film. 

We change the lyrics to songs for our cats (it all started with my family dog named Abby, she had a song. then we also gave one to my parents current dog, more on them later) 

Lego's song is "Come Mr. Tally Man".. all the Dayo's become Lego.

Lego's full name is Lego Castle Magsino

busy busy busy

sooo.. life has been a bit crazy lately. working on getting funding for little brass bird. we are trying to get shorts out each week . i got a hair cut very short and she kinda messed up my side wispy things by cutting them way to short.

 i have been trying to get into collecting wade whimsies i have recently purchased four more a hedgehog, a sturgeon, a hickory dicory clock, and a Pembroke corgi. i need a new shelf for those. also i have wanted to buy these vintage cups made in england( i had a set that Nanny gave me for x-mas but one broke)  these are things i can get on ebay for the cheap.

sorry i am the worst blogger ever

i have been working hard this summer. as you may know rhodrick and i have been working on taking our plush company in a new direction. we will still be making toys and eventually shirts. but we wanted to develop a online television show about the clock shop. i have been building all the sets and it is quite a bit of work. i have a funny feeling we for sure aren't going to make our deadline.  nothing is riding on it it is a personal deadline. we are also revamping our webpage and going to see if we can have www.kickstarter.com add us to their donation list. check them out they are small but i like the concept.    

the apartment and cats are fine. i have been sick lately. rhodrick is doing well. i guess we are just getting things in order.

Not to be a bragger...p.s I am trying out new typefaces and things. But Rhodrick is the sweetest boy ever. When he sees it's raining outside while at the office(his department is the only one with windows really) he always sends me a text or calls to check on me and the rain. I get stuck out in the rain a lot due to me being a dog walker currently. Recently Chicago has been having a bad string of cold rain. Makes me wish my job was a staying in bed job. We like to joke about being payed about cuddling. okay enough mushyness.   

littlebrassbird update: I have written around four episodes (two may stink since I was a bit delirious when they were written(due to the stomach flu) However we have been working hard on working out episodes. The time line is being generated so we know what will happen in a sense before we fully write it. These will be broadcasted on youtube of corse and also on or web-page...which we will be updating completely hopefully soon.

Two post in one day you are a lucky girl sister( maybe one day more folks will read this thing)

packing,pets,gatorade and hair cuts

   So packing doesn't really work when it's one person packing for two people, three cats and one lonely little beta. Typically I do have Rhodrick at home on the weekends but he has been working at the school on saturdays trying to make extra cash. So this leaves me most days packing and cleaning. I am a little broken up about leaving the apartment...yeah yeah I know the move will be good and it's time for an upgrade. However I love my cute little apartment also losing out on Rhodrick's closet studio. 

   I had to buy Lego this crazy wet food that has no corn,wheat, or any of the other filler products in it. Petsmart was being so lamers about it. They didn't have the food by the case just an open case of the food and they wouldn't sell it with a case price. and let me tell you it was very expensive. I think we are going to have to buy them a kitty fountain because Lego is a strange cat and won't drink from his bowl or the sink. He loves to drink from water bottles.... which is messy or be squirt in the face with the water mister. 

   I do not like Gatorade I rediscovered. i thought maybe it was something I would grow to like, There are many foods I hated as a child that I love now. Anchovies well thats the only one I can think of right now. But I still Hate Broccoli (which I retried last month) and Gatorade.

 I have been thinking about my hair for a while now and decided it looks like Mrs. Brady. You know from the bunch. So I think it's time for a cut and it will be short. Here are my ideas. Please help. p.s I would like for it to be a surprise for Rhodrick

Tomorrow I have a job interview. I am pretty nervous about it. I think the real think I'm worried about is the fact I have to go right from my other job. On a unrelated note one thing I really miss about being younger is that you can go to a bank and get free lollipops. I took two from the bank closest to me. I only really feel half bad about it. Speaking of candy I have been watching lots of "Strangers with Candy" Amy Sedaris always cracks me up. I also like the new season of the simpsons, and kath and kim(the american version)

I don't know what happened to my old blogger

So I made a new one. I feel like in between the million phone calls I make sometimes I need to just write a few things down for my family and friends so they know what's up with me. Nothing is really to new with me... besides packing for the move in april/may, getting freaked out about taxes, and looking for new possible jobs. I wish I could do a 101 in 1001 but I don't know where to start at all.  

Hopefully I can keep up with this blog. To bad I am not the most interesting person ever.
